I have terrible in-laws for the most part, but even if they were great, I know I'd be in the same boat. I hate having people stay with us for more than a weekend, and I know what it's like to have a mother-in-law who believes her son can do no wrong...especially when he's being specifically irritating towards me. Grrr. I hope you find something lovely to do with yourself today to escape that.

You got so many awesome books this week, I don't know where to start. I loved Catastrophic History when I read it a couple of years ago. It was one of my first forays back into contemporary novels after so many years of fantasy and paranormal reads. Oh, and don't feel bad if you never finish City of Bones. I liked it when I read it several years ago, but my tastes have changed quite a bit and I don't think I could read it now. I actually rec'd it to my sister ages ago, and she's been reading it here and there, and I just told her to give up on it. Except that the last book is narrated on audio by Logan Echolls, er, I mean Jason Dohring. And we're both huge VM fans, so we might end up going that route instead. At least then we'd be done with THIS series, lol.starryeyedjenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15841350560201331032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8318800217921114831.post-54018087705130372152014-06-14T10:46:21.754-04:002014-06-14T10:46:21.754-04:00I hope real life, off-the-blog stuff figures itsel...I hope real life, off-the-blog stuff figures itself out soon. I can only imagine how tiring and stressful the combination of doing that while you have a houseguest would be. *fingers crossed for good news soon*

I've been holding off on On the Fence. I think I'm going to have to cave soon, though, because I keep seeing so many good things about it. I enjoyed The Catastrophic History of You and Me and Deadly Cool. The Summer I Became a Nerd was freaking adorable. I hope you enjoy all your new books – and that you find a peaceful place to do it. :)

My STSAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11054719795632431384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8318800217921114831.post-6268427563452000382014-06-14T10:27:22.144-04:002014-06-14T10:27:22.144-04:00I can't wait to read On the Fence, I wouldn...I can't wait to read On the Fence, I wouldn't have been able to wait either if I had it. Love Kasie West! Read City of Bones!! You could binge read now that the whole series is out (although before the last book, I would recommend reading Infernal Devices because you'll learn certain things that may ruin it for you). Although now maybe you won't read it because that's 9 books you're committing to. Unless you've read Infernal Devices already?? The Summer I Became a Nerd…so cute, I really enjoyed that one. A perfect summer read.

Dangerous Girls…I just requested that one from the library, I keep hearing great things about it even though I wasn't planning on reading it at first.

You have such a good attitude about searching for a job (and about your mother-in-law)! I went through a period of time when I was interviewing for jobs and whenever I heard I didn't get the job I basically went to bed. Sleeping was my way of dealing with it. And yes, it will all work out like it should, at least that's what happened with me. Good luck! ~Pamyaescapefromrealityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08200254719073248981noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8318800217921114831.post-10639569252628434742014-06-14T09:13:37.107-04:002014-06-14T09:13:37.107-04:00On the Fence is definitely on my TBR list.
