As much as I appreciate your nomination, I just simply do not have time for award hops at this time. It really wasn't that big of an adjustment for me because I had several friends that also stayed for school. Levi is great. Y'allFest sounds awesome. I'd definitely try to read this beforehand if you can find the time. Not sure why, but it didn't. The summary for FANGIRL definitely caught my attention and can see why it had such a huge rating among other book bloggers. Cath seems like someone extremely relatable and reminds me of myself when I went off to college. I went to a school in a different state with none of the people I've been friends with since 5th grade. It was hard. I didn't know anybody and my roommates all had friends there already. It's a huge adjustment period. I think I would enjoy reading about Cath's self discovery and figuring out how to break herself off from her twin sister. Levi sounds great too :) Rainbow is going to be at Y'allFest in November so I hope to read this beforehand, or at least get a copy signed when I go!Christinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00693881573322261240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8318800217921114831.post-7991394902435846792013-09-24T12:42:29.948-04:002013-09-24T12:42:29.948-04:00Love this book. I'm actually posting...I enjoyed this book too. I'm actually posting a review of this book along with two other college books later this week. I thought Cath was depicted in a fairly realistic way, but she was definitely an extreme person. She drove me crazy sometimes. Just go to the dining hall! And Levi...I adored him and he was the perfect person for her. Wren definitely had the more typical college experience (at least she was actually interested in meeting new people), but I was a little disappointed that the author had even that go to the extreme on the opposite side. It seems like you either don't drink and are anti-social or you do drink and it's a problem. But there were more middle-of-the-road people, like Levi and Reagan. Attachments was great as well, you should check that out if you haven't read it. They are so different from each other. Great review! The family aspect of the book was my favorite. I related so much to Cath. Still haven't read this one though. I'm thinking I'll be jumping on that right away.

Great review, Natalie!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00107816571044347474noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8318800217921114831.post-83267970164881598822013-09-23T08:44:34.784-04:002013-09-23T08:44:34.784-04:00I've heard a lot of good things about this boo...I've heard a lot of good things about this book and hope to have a chance to read it at some point. It's kind of strange, but a lot of books I've been reading lately, I've noticed, have this theme of the mother leaving the family and then the father and children having to deal with the aftermath. It's so hard for me to fathom a mother leaving her children, no matter what the reason, but it seems to be a theme that is being touched on more and more. Anyway, just a random observation! lol

Great Review!

Wendy @ Escape Into FictionWendy Lohrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17826071697700251163noreply@blogger.com
