I'm scared that the triangle will be resurrected (based on her other series) and that it will just piss me off. Peter was so cute. I ended up loving him, too. And the sisters thing--it totally happens. I'm so glad neither me nor my sister dated the dude, though. That does seem really awkward. DEF pick up Burn for Burn. I adore that series! It seems like she can only drag on the relationship aspect for so long. BUT that is EXACTLY what she did in the Summertime series (which helps explain why the third one was so atrocious). Regardless, I liked this book way more and am excited to see what does happen next. And, yes, Peter ended up being adorable, didn't he? Thanks for stopping by! It's...I was really surprised by the ending too. It's just so rare to see a sort of cliff hanger in a contemporary but it also ended in a way that I'm not sure how a 2nd book will work. I thought everything was pretty much resolved, especially when it came to Lara Jean's love letters being mailed out. She talked to everyone about them so...? I don't know, I'm just not sure what direction Han is going to go in now. Peter really ended up surprising me. I hated him at first but came to love him by the end of the book. Lara Jean's inability to see what's in front of her did drive me crazy at times. I completely related to the whole two sisters falling in love with the same guy thing. My sister and I are 2.5 years apart and that has happened to us once. We actually both dated him for a bit, me first for a couple of months, then a year or so later she dated him for a little while. It was weird. Beyond weird. But it's proof that that does happen! I think I'll need to go pick up the Burn for Burn series if you liked it!Christinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00693881573322261240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8318800217921114831.post-50682274338766212252014-04-22T10:41:49.069-04:002014-04-22T10:41:49.069-04:00I thought it was going to be about all of the guys...I thought it was going to be about all of the guys, don't know whether I'm disappointed or not by that, but I think I would enjoy it less if it was or at least cringe a lot. It is pretty much a nightmare if anything like that happened in real life, yikes. Love that's it's more centred around different relationships than just romantic relationships. I kind of want to read it now just for that ending. ;)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11957514015448707063noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8318800217921114831.post-79947995544524249272014-04-22T07:41:33.951-04:002014-04-22T07:41:33.951-04:00I really wanted to like To All the Boys I've L...I really wanted to like To All the Boys I've Loved Before but I didn't. It sounds like something I might like. Though the concept of five different boys being a huge problem kind of puts me off, I want to try it anyway. I loved the progression of the relationship between Lara Jean and Peter, and the fact that they were both so themselves with each other since they weren't trying to impress each other. And yes, I did like the sister relationships too. And I had no idea when I was reading that there was a sequel in the works so when it suddenly ended where it did, I was like…what???? I was so mad and then I checked and saw there was a sequel. Now, that does make it better, but at the same time, really? A cliffhanger in a contemporary YA? I feel a bit manipulated. I loved it so I would read the next book anyway, and I thought there were other characters that the book could focus on. So I guess this one is going to more Lara Jean and Peter? Josh? Chris? Just not sure if it's just the continuation of this story whether it can support a whole book. But yes, I'll still read it. I wish the book were just a little longer with everything completely resolved and then the MCs could make appearances in a sequel (like Anna and the French Kiss and Lola). But oh well! Great review, glad you enjoyed it. ~Pamyaescapefromrealityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08200254719073248981noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8318800217921114831.post-47141677226026279212014-04-21T19:08:35.231-04:002014-04-21T19:08:35.231-04:00I don't know what it is about Jenny Hahn's...I don't know what it is about Jenny Hahn's books that has me keeping away. I just can't find it in me to read them. I think everything about it screams, YA. Not that there's anything wrong with that - because I'm a reader of the genre.
