In Some Other Life

Author: Jessica Brody
Publisher: Farrar, Straus, and Giroux
Release Date: August 29, 2017

Goodreads:

Kennedy Rhodes turns down an acceptance to an elite private school, instead choosing to stay at her high school and jump at the opportunity to date the boy of her dreams. Three years later, Kennedy walks in on that same boyfriend cheating with her best friend—and wishes she had made a different choice. But when Kennedy hits her head and wakes up in the version of her life where she chose to attend the private school, she finds that maybe it’s not as perfect of a world as she once thought.

Why I'm Excited:
I knew I wanted to read this the moment I read that (short and sweet) synopsis. I LOVE re-do books or books that show the "road not traveled". I'll definitely be keeping my eyes out for this one.

  1. This sounds like a YA Sliding Doors, which I loved, so YAY! :D Cute cover, too. Great pick, Natalie!

  2. I've been reading a lot of books with this premise, but haven't read a YA one like this yet. I like the sound of it--definitely will be adding it to the TBR list. Thanks for putting it on my radar!

  4. Ooo, I want to read this one too! I like Jessica Brody's books. Usually I am not a fan of YA contemporary, but I adored two of her previous contemporary novels. I hope you enjoy this book when you get a chance to read it!

    Have a fabulous week. :)

    Check out my WoW post!

  5. I love books like this. It sounds like a really fun YA read that is a bit ridiculous, but oh well. I just like reading alt life scenarios where you get an answer to a 'what if' situation. I'll be adding that to my TBR. I mean, May isn't that far away, right?

Hello, there! Thanks for taking the time to comment. I read each and every one and will do my best to respond--usually on your blog instead of on mine. I will, however, always answer direct questions. Due to serious time restraints, this blog is now an award free zone, but I appreciate the thought!
