Today's Topic is: Favorite 2013 books I've read
GoldenParallelPerfect Scoundrels (Heist Society, #3)Mind Games (Mind Games, #1)
WingerLife After TheftThe Mystery of Mercy Close: A Walsh Sister Novel
Pivot Point (Pivot Point, #1)The Moon and MoreThe Reece Malcolm List
 Golden by Jessi Kirby
I absolutely adored this lovely novel of a high school senior trying to find her path. See my review Here.
Parallel by Lauren Miller
This was a fun book about a girl living parallel lives. Find my review Here.
Perfect Scondrels  by Ally Carter
I love the Heist Society books. I read this before I started this blog, but will probably post my review sometime (like when I don't have anything else planned because I got sucked into watching ID for hours instead of reading a book).
Mind Games by Kiersten White
This is a polarizing book, but I loved it and can't wait to find out what happens next. I read this before I started this blog, but will definitely post my review sometime this summer.
Winger by Andrew Smith
I loved this funny and heartbreaking story that follows a 14 year-old junior at a boarding school. Find my review Here.
Life After Theft by Aprilynn Pike
This is a fun book that follows a teenaged boy trying to help a snobby ghost find her way to the afterlife. Find my review Here.
The final Walsh sister finally gets her own story. Find my review Here.
Pivot Point by Kasie West
Another fun parallel worlds book. I read this one earlier in the year, but will post a review this summer sometime.
The Moon and More by Sarah Dessen
Not my favorite Sarah Dessen, but still a great summer book. Find my review Here.
The Reece Malcolm List by Amy Spalding
I have much love for this book about a teenager meeting and living with her mother for the first time after her father's death. Featuring show choirs. Again, I read this one earlier in the year, but will post my review sometime this summer.

So that's it for me. What have you loved so far this year? Link me up!

  29. Yeah, Reece and Pivot Point! The only other one I've read is Mind Games, which I was not a fan of. However, I anticipate love of Golden. Otherwise, ocean of tears.

  30. We have so many in common (by which I mean two, but hey it counts!)! Great minds think alike and all that.

I LOVE MARIAN KEYES! I always like finding a fellow fan. The Mystery of Mercy Close is the only one of hers I have yet to read. It's encouraging that it made your 10 best! I need to get it soon.

I haven't heard much about the Reece Malcolm list until today, when it started popping up on everyone's TTT! Apparently I missed out on that one. I'll need to fix that ASAP.

Great, fun list. I need to read so many of these.

  32. I'm reading The Moon and More at the moment and love it already. I really enjoyed The Reece Malcolm List too - I was pleasantly surprised to see there's currently a revival of Merrily We Roll Along in the West End. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll get to see it before it closes. Great list once again!

  48. I quite enjoyed Pivot Point, so I'm eager to read Parallel and a different author's story about a girl with alternative futures. Golden was good, but I haven't read too many of your choices. They're mostly contemps, which is my least favorite genre, however I have heard good things about The Moon and More and The Reece Malcolm List.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Golden....I want that book in the worst way!!

    ReplyDelete
  50. I can't wait to read Golden -- I've heard great things! Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier :) I get super excited when my new blogger friends say hi!

    Have a great night!

  51. I'm completely shocked here... I haven't read any of these books! I own 3 (Parallel, Pivot Point and Perfect Scoundrels) and have 2 more on my TBR list (Reece Malcom List and Life After Theft). Looks like I better get busy!

    ReplyDelete
  52. We have two in common, and I have been seeing Golden everywhere. I guess I need to move it up my list. I checked it out from the library a couple of weeks ago, so now I just need to sit down and read it. Thanks for visiting my TTT.

  53. I have Pivot Point on my list, too, and a few others on my TBR list (I'm determined to get to Winger and Golden this weekend). Glad to see Reece Malcolm on your list. I think it is one of the best debuts this year, even if I couldn't find a spot on my list for it today.

  57. Oo, I'm glad to hear you liked Mind Games, I checked it out from the library but didn't get to it before the due date. I'll have to grab it again!

  58. This is basically a list of all the books I'm dying to read :3
Except The Reese Malcolm list, I read it sometime in February :)

    ReplyDelete
  59. I pretty much need to read all the books on this list except for Golden and Pivot Point! I'm especially excited to see Mind Games on your list, because I've been hearing mixed reactions to it!

    ReplyDelete
  60. I haven't read any of these so it looks like I have some catching up to do! I'm especially curious about the parallel universe books because I'm all for that.

  63. Golden is definitely at the top of my to-read list right now. I seriously want to read it! Aprilynne Pike is a local author and she's having an event in July... maybe I'll pick up Life After Theft then! I didn't know what it was about, but it sounds really fun!

Awesome list, yet again! Thanks for sharing and also for stopping by my blog, too. Cheers!

  64. Parallel and Pivot Point are definitely on my reading list! I've heard amazing things about both :) I've heard very mixed things about Mind Games, but I think that's a case of you either love the writing style or you hate it.
