The Afterlife of Holly Chase

Author: Cynthia Hand

Publisher: HarperTeen
Release Date: November 7, 2017

Goodreads:

On Christmas Eve five years ago, Holly was visited by three ghosts who showed her how selfish and spoiled she'd become. They tried to convince her to mend her ways.

She didn't.

And then she died.

Now she's stuck working for the top-secret company Project Scrooge--as the latest Ghost of Christmas Past.

Every year, they save another miserly grouch. Every year, Holly stays frozen at seventeen while her family and friends go on living without her. So far, Holly's afterlife has been miserable.

But this year, everything's about to change...

Why I'm Excited: What a fun twist on a classic story! This sounds amazing, and I'll definitely be keeping my eyes open for this one.

  5. This one is new to me! Besides My Lady Jane, I've not read anything by Cynthia Hand (and that one was co-written). I love this cover! So simple yet so expressive. I hope you enjoy this book when you get the chance to read it!

Have a great week, Natalie. =)

Hello, there! Thanks for taking the time to comment. I read each and every one and will do my best to respond--usually on your blog instead of on mine. I will, however, always answer direct questions. Due to serious time restraints, this blog is now an award free zone, but I appreciate the thought!
