Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme/original feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Click the link to go to their site to see the original list for today plus links to a whole slew of other blogs. After you read mine, of course.

Today's Topic is: Favorite Beach Reads

This topic is right up my alley. I absolutely adore those fluffy, summery, beach-y reads that come out every summer. In no particular order, my top "ten" (I suck. I know. Pretend there are only 10) are:

My Life Next DoorGirls in White DressesThe Truth About Forever
GoldenRemember Me?Burn for Burn (Burn for Burn, #1)
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (Sisterhood, #1)Goodnight NobodyEvery Boy's Got One (Boy, #3)
This Is What Happy Looks LikeAnna and the French KissGirls Night in

My Life Next Door  by Huntley Fitzpatrick
I loved this cute story of neighbors who fall in love.
Girls in White Dresses by Jennifer Close
Full of vignettes of life in your early 20s. Cute, fast, and so true.
The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen
This is my favorite Dessen book. Follows a girl over a summer as her world finally begins to expand.
Golden by Jessi Kirby
This book is lovely. That is all.
Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella
Really any book written by Ms. Kinsella could be on this list. This is one of my favorites.
Burn for Burn by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian
A fun story of three girls looking for revenge
I re-read this series every couple of summers. Love.
Goodnight Nobody by Jennifer Weiner
A murder mystery by Jennifer Weiner!
Every Boy's Got One by Meg Cabot
I love this whole "series" of books (very loosely related) told in mostly in emails. So cute.
This is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer E. Smith
A boy and a boat. That actually is what my happy looks like.
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
Why, yes, I am aware that this book makes most of my lists. I love it.
Girls Night In by The Best Authors in Chick-Lit
This compilation of short stories is the perfect beach read.

This was seriously hard. I could have done a top 50 easily. I'm going to stop second guessing myself now (how do I not have any Jane Green or Emily Giffin on here?) and post this.

Hello, there! Thanks for taking the time to comment. I read each and every one and will do my best to respond--usually on your blog instead of on mine. I will, however, always answer direct questions. Due to serious time restraints, this blog is now an award free zone, but I appreciate the thought!
