New Year's Eve ended with a bang and Mary, Kat and Lillia may not be prepared for what is to come.

After Rennie's death, Kat and Lillia try to put the pieces together of what happened to her. They both blame themselves. If Lillia hadn't left with Reeve... If Kat had only stayed with Rennie... Things could have been different. Now they will never be the same.

Only Mary knows the truth about that night. About what she is. She also knows the truth about Lillia and Reeve falling in love, about Reeve being happy when all he deserves is misery, just like the misery he caused her. Now their childish attempts at revenge are a thing of the past and Mary is out for blood. Will she leave anything in her wake or will all that remain be ashes?
Why I'm Excited:

I absolutely adore this series. It is seriously so fun and twisty and fast-paced. If you haven't picked up the first book--you should. I can not wait to see how this series ends. I have to say that I'm unhappy with this redesign, though. These new covers look like every other book out there. The first two books had a much cooler look. Regardless, I'm dying to get my hands on this one.

Isn't this more interesting than the sharp focus? What do you think?

Hey lovely GFC and new followers, please follow me by Bloglovin as we all know Google Reader has gone/is going by the wayside. (I like to follow back, so please let me know if you're a new follower--and leave a link!) Thank you!!!

  1. Thanks for the spoiler warning! I forgot all about this sequel but I've just added to to my tbr and I'm going to have to catch up, STAT!

  2. I haven't enjoyed the first book in this series but it's because I rarely enjoy books that deal with revenge. It's a turn-off to me. I hope you'll enjoy this one :)
Also I'm following you now via Bloglovin' :)

    Here is our WOW pick

  3. I like Jenny Han's Summer series the best, but the first book in this series was pretty entertaining. I still haven't read book two though…so many series to catch up on! Great pick!

  4. I LOVED Fire with Fire and with that ending I need this book ASAP.
    Here is My WOW

  5. I didn't read the synopsis because of your warning. I will check out the first book in the series on goodreads. Thanks for sharing!!

    Here is my WoW:

  6. I think I have the first one on my Kindle, but I'm not sure. These do sound like a lot of fun though!
    My WoW

  7. Great pick! I've only read the first book in the series but I have Fire With Fire here and it means a shorter wait until this one! Hope you get to read it soon :)

  8. I still haven't started this series...just not sure it's for me. But I agree, I much prefer the older covers.

  9. I haven't read this series, but it sounds like I should. I might have to binge read it when the last one comes out. ~Pam

  10. Oh yea, you're right, the first were definitely prettier with that frosted over look. Ah well...This does sound like a fun series so I hope you enjoy this one!

  11. At first when I saw the header for this post I was thinking of this book and was wondering if it was about to come out in paperback or something. I didn't read the synopsis of this (thanks for the warning!) because I haven't read any of the books in the series. I really want to start it though! I've been meaning to for awhile now. I need to make time!

Hello, there! Thanks for taking the time to comment. I read each and every one and will do my best to respond--usually on your blog instead of on mine. I will, however, always answer direct questions. Due to serious time restraints, this blog is now an award free zone, but I appreciate the thought!
