Why I'm Excited:
e. lockhart is the woman. The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks is one of my all time favorite books and I love the Ruby Oliver series, too. This synopsis is a bit vague, but certainly intriguing. I love a bit of mystery and suspense and it sounds like it will deliver both. I'm beyond excited for this book.

I need to read that book (the disreputable...). I haven't had the pleasure of reading any of her work. What's wrong with me? Lol. This sounds great, Natalie.
ReplyDeleteOhh! I love the sound of this one and the cover is awesome. It looks like a summertime read--my favorite! I have to admit I have never read anything by Lockhart, but I definitely want to. Great pick!

Maybe it's just me, but that synopsis just didn't draw me in. It's a suspense, so I understand the vaugeness, but I'm just thinking *meh*. I likely wouldn't pick this up if I just saw it sitting on the shelf. I would be hitting up the reviews first *patiently waits*

I've never read anything by the author, but this one definitely caught my attention. I think I saw The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks up on Audible, so maybe I'll check that one out, as well. Especially since you seem to adore the author. :)
